Court triumph for French activists who called for Israeli food boycott
The trial of two French activists who called for a boycott of Israeli products in 2009 has been abandoned by the Criminal Court of Pontoise, on the outskirts of Paris. The prosecution has 10 days to appeal the decision.

Paris Greens senator Alima Boumediene-Thiery and left-wing activist Omar Slaouti faced racism charges after their drive against Israeli goods at a Carrefour supermarket at Montigny-les-Cormeilles, north of Paris.
But the court ruled on Thursday that the charges were invalid after their lawyer cited irregularities.
Boumediene maintained she had been campaigning against the Israeli government and not against Jewish or Israeli individuals.
Upon leaving the court, both defendants were applauded by a crowd chanting slogans such as "Palestine will live, Palestine will win".
