Storms and waves lash Brittany coast
Strong winds are expected to lash the coast of Brittany, western France, Friday, causing waves six- to seven-metres high. One person has died and another is missing after storms earlier this week.

A young Finlander was reported missing on Thursday after he and his brother went swimming off the Brittany coast early in the morning, apparently under the influence of alcohol.
A kitesurfer was killed on Sunday when gusts of wind dashed him against the side of a house, leaving him to crash on the ground.
Forecasters Météo France predicted storms and massive waves between Penmarc’h and Ile de Batz on Friday, with storms possibly hitting other parts of the west coast.
Brittany, the westernmost point of France which projects into the Atlantic Ocean, has been hit by storms all week, with waves as high as nine metres on Monday night.
The latest bad weather was caused by a depression moving towards Sweden from the east of Scotland, generating strong winds to its west and south-west.
