Sarkozy's Facebook hacked for second time
French President Nicolas Sarkozy’s Facebook page announced that he was pulling out of the running in the 2012 presidential race Tuesday. It was the second time in 48 hours that hackers have sabotaged the presidential presence on the social media site.

Tuesday’s hacking was noticed and corrected straight away, officials said.
Employees of the Elysée presidential palace are on the lookout after Sunday night’s hoax announcement that “taking into account the exceptional circumstances facing our country at the moment” Sarkozy would not stand for reelection.
In 2008 two people were arrested for hacking into Sarkozy’s bank account and withdrawing money, while a fake tweet to his estranged wife Cécilia hit headlines at the time of his marriage to Carla Bruni.
