Angry Magistrates strike against Sarkozy

Hundreds of magistrates dressed in red and black robes took part in an unprecedented strike outside courthouses around France. They were protesting remarks by Nicolas Sarkozy that they were at fault in the high-profile murder case of a young women. The magistrates say the president has stepped out of line and undermined their independence.
