Fashion designer Galliano questioned over anti-Semitic remarks
British fashion designer John Galliano was taken in for questioning on Thursday in Paris over alleged minor assault and anti-Semitic remarks. He was released Friday morning.

Galliano, who is head designer at Christian Dior, reportedly got into an argument with a couple on the terrace of a café in the rue de la Perle, in Paris's thrid arrondissement.
The reasons for the argument are as yet unclear.
The police arrived quickly. A breathalyser test later revealed Galliano had a blood alcohol level of 1.1mg per litre of air breathed out.
The couple says they intend to press charges.
In 2009, Galliano was made a chevalier of the French Legion of Honour. He has also appeared in the Independent on Sunday newspaper's list of the most influential gay people.
