The website of Le Point, a right-wing weekly, says "Strauss-Kahn will on Sunday answer questions form Claire Chazal during the 8.00 pm news on TF1."
Chazal is a friend and former colleague of Strauss-Kahn's loyal wife, Anne Sinclair, who used to host a current affairs programme on the same channel.
Strauss-Kahn's returned to Paris on 4 September after charges that he tried to rape a New York chambermaid were dropped.
He will face some difficult questions, even though Chazal is not known for an aggressive interviewing style.
TF1 have so far refused to confirm reports of a Sunday evening interview.
