Sunday marked the end of a week-long operation to gather food for the pets of homeless people. The 'Croquettes du Coeur' operation aimed to gather ten tons of pet food that would then be donated to homeless centers. While some might be shocked at the idea of a food drive for animals and not people, dogs can sometimes play an important role in a homeless person's life.
