Behavioural therapy gains ground in France

France remains one of the most depressed nations in the world, according to surveys. The country is also one of the world's biggest consumers of anti-depressants. But when it comes to treatment, the French remain loyal to European, Freud-based psychology. Yet, North American behavioral therapy is creeping slowly into the French mental health system. Could it be a new way to treat an old problem?
