Why do Chinese students come to France?

France is the fourth most popular country in the world for foreign students in higher education, coming after the US, Britain and Australia. An average of 280,000 come every year and nearly 10 per cent of them are Chinese. And the numbers are increasing every year. High-flying Chinese students, residents at the Cité Universitaire in Paris, tell RFI why they’re here .. and aren’t planning on staying.
