Man killed by stolen car in Marseille

A man has been killed by a stolen car in the southern French city of Marseille just minutes after the car was spotted by police.
A police source says a patrol car saw the stolen car on Saturday night and gave chase, but they soon lost sight of the car.
Minutes later, the car, with six young people inside, collided with a scooter.
Nearby firemen who heard the crash rushed to help the 39-year old rider, but he died at the scene.
They also tried to catch the youths who escaped from the car.
Police say they found two guns and a fake gun inside the car, which had been stolen with violence earlier in the week.
Two of the youths in the car and three of their friends who were not in the car at the time are being questioned by police.
The four other youths in the car are still at large.
