Sound week aims to make French more aware of noise and sound

Sound and noise are all around us, and the Semaine du Son (the week of sound) is trying to make us aware of that. Every year for the past ten years, a group of sound engineers has put on a series of conferences and events around France about sound, of all kinds, to raise awareness of the sonic world around us. But it’s not all pleasant sounds. Street noise and loud work environments can cause more than just stress.
