Israeli forces kill two Palestinians

Israeli forces shot dead two Palestinian gunmen who had just entered Israel from the Gaza Strip on Friday, according to Israeli army radio.

The incident occurred a short distance from the southern border of Gaza.

The Zaka rescue and recovery group said terrorists “attempted to infiltrate near kibbutz Nirim in southern Israel and an army unit killed them”.

An Israeli army spokesman earlier said there had been an exchange of fire between Israeli soldiers and Palestinians.
