French charity files complaint after Israeli attacks
The French charity Committee for Charity and Support for the Palestinians (CBSP) said it has lodged a legal complaint after Israeli forces captured its members on the Gaza aid flotilla. The complaints for kidnapping, false imprisonment, armed violence and ship hijacking were lodged in Marseille and the Paris suburb Evry.

CBSP’s lawyer Liliane Glock said the victims are French, suggesting the French legal system is competent to deal with the case.
The CBSP, which provides support for Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, was listed as a terrorist fundraising group by the United States in 2003 for funding Islamist group Hamas.
Meanwhile the Hamas has closed six non governmental organisations in the Gaza Strip and the United Nations Middle East envoy has condemned the action.
The coordinator of the Palestinian NGOs, Amjad Shawa, told RFI Hamas closed the organisations down during the Israeli attacks on Monday in which nine people died.
Amjad added no official reason was given for closing down the NGOs and confiscating their equipment.
