The euro has hit new lows against major currencies and trading across Asia has remained thin ahead of this week's European Union summit. As the leaders of France and Germany met on Monday to discuss the eurozone crisis, Laurent Maruani, professor at HEC French Business School and aneconomist, outlines the main questions facing Europe's economies.
