The United States - along with other members of the United Nations Security Council, the Arab League and its neighbours - is considering how to deal with the unrelenting violence in Syria. Middle East and North Africa specialist Mona Yacoubian of the Stimson Institute, Washington DC, speaks to RFI about the current U.S position on Syria.
