Is Syria moving closer to a post-Assad era?

As fighting intensifies in Syria's main cities, the opposition is suggesting new leaders and road maps for transition. Unrest has also been reported in the Christian minority areas in Damascus for the first time. Are we close to a post-Assad era in Syria? RFI speaks to Paul Rodgers, conflict resolution specialist at Bradford University, who says it might take longer and be more complicated than some like to believe.
