Growing frustrations with poor economic conditions in Palestine

Earlier this month, Ehab Abu Nada, an 18 year-old Palestinian in Gaza, died when he set himself on fire to draw attention to his family's poverty. It came against a backdrop of widespread demonstrations across Gaza and the West Bank as people protested against inflated prices for essential goods, such as fuel and bread.
