This week marks the fourth anniversary of the first violent protests in Syria, signaling the beginning of a long and bloody civil war, which shows no end in sight.Nearly three million people have been forced to flee the country so far, with Lebanon to the west receiving over 1.3 million refugees, nearly half a million of which are school-aged children.In the first of a five-part series, RFI’s Harry Darkins reports from a school for refugees in the north of the country run by Relief and Reconciliation for Syria. He finds out what efforts are being made to prevent Syria's children becoming a ‘lost generation’.
