When the tender for organising the 2012 Olympic Games was won by London, the UK capital promised to hold the greenest Games ever. This through a zero-waste policy, accessible and environment-friendly transport systems, a carbon footprint management and the promotion of sustainable living. A month to the day before the launch of the event, has the Olympic organising committee stuck to its commitments?
