British top seed Andy Murray won twice on Saturday to reach the final of the Munich Open.

The 27-year-old, who is playing in his first tournament since his marriage to Kim Sears, came from a set down to defeat the Czech Lukas Rosol in the quarter-final.

But the victory was marred by an ugly encounter between the two men.

During a changeover, the two players bumped into each other. That led to complaints from Murray and forced the intervention of the ATP supervisor Gerry Armstrong.

Murray later told Rosol: "No-one likes you on the tour, everyone hates you."

The world number three then won 12 of the following 15 games to leave little room for further discussion.

Murray then saw off the Spanish third seed Roberto Bautista Agut 6-4, 6-4 in his semi-final tie.

The quarters and semis had to be played on Saturday after rain washed out the day on Friday.

Earlier on Saturday in his quarter-final, Bautista Agut won 12 games in a row to defeat Víctor Estrella Burgos of the Dominican Republic 4-6, 6-0, 6-0.

At the Istanbul Open, world number two Roger Federer came from behind to advance to Sunday's final.

The 33-year-old former world number one dropped the first set 6-2 against the unseeded Argentine Diego Sebastian Schwartzman.

At one stage, riled that his service was malfunctioning, the normally debonair Swiss thrashed a ball outside the court.

He was docked a point by the umpire Mohamed Lahyani for his fury before claiming the second set 6-2. Federer took the decider 7-5.

Both Federer and Murray are honing their clay court skills at minor ATP events with the Madrid and Rome Masters in mind before tackling the second grand slam of the season at the French Open in Paris.
