Few and far between, French American football players are dedicated to their sport

The final of France's American football championship is scheduled for next weekend, 20 June. This may come as a surprise, as the most popular sport in the United States is rarely played in France. American football evolved out of rugby, mixing the rules with those of soccer. RFI met The Flash of La Courneuve, one of the 140 American football teams in France and among pioneers of the sport in the country, to see what draws players in.
