Video/Slideshow: First day in the French Alps for Tour de France riders
The 16th stage of Tour de France started on Monday 20 July in Bourg-de-Péage in the Rhone Valley to end up in Gap in the French Alps. The Spanish rider Ruben Plaza Molina won the 201-km stage to finish 30 seconds ahead of Slovak Peter Sagan. The Tour will end on Sunday 26 July on the Champs-Elysées in Paris.
