Djokovic 'smells cannabis' on court

World number one Novak Djokovic complained to the umpire that he could smell cannabis on court during his victory over Jeremy Chardy in the Rogers Cup.

After taking the first set, the Serb approached the chair, saying: "Someone is smoking weed, I can smell it. I'm getting dizzy."

He later said: "You can't believe how bad it was. Whoever it is, I hope they don't come back tomorrow."

Djokovic felt he also noticed the stench during a doubles match with partner Janko Tipsarevic.

"Yesterday in the doubles match, today again. Someone's really enjoying their life around the tennis court."

Djokovic went on to get past Frenchman Chardy 6-4 6-4 to reach the final in Canada.
