Women protest France's macho culture

In France, several feminist groups have criticised reactions to the arrest of Dominique Strauss-Kahn on charges of sexual assault. Activists say the politicians and commentators who have defended Strauss-Kahn are evidence of a culture of machismo in France. Women's groups have launched a petition that's already had thousands of signatures. And on Sunday hundreds of people gathered in central Paris to protest at what they say is proof that France doesn't take sexual violence seriously.
