France's city farmers
Who wants fresh vegetables?

In France, food prices have gone up in recent years. At the same time, the number fruit and vegetable farmers in the country is shrinking. Unsurprisingly, a lot of farmers don’t think it makes much sense for consumers to pay more while they earn less. So some have been setting up in major cities to sell their produce directly to city-dwellers.
