Imran Khan, the former cricket star turned politician is now on his way back to the capital of Pakistan, Islamabad, after failing to gain entry to South Waziristan province. Khan was leading a convoy to the province, made up of hundreds of trucks, to raise awareness of the collateral damage caused by drones. But persistent threats from hardline Islamists operating in the semi-autonomous tribal area that borders Afghanistan, meant the convoy has had to turn back. RFI spoke to Imtiaz Gul, a Pakistani peace activist in Islamabad about Khan's intentions.
