France and Germany to boost anti-jihadist online cooperation
France and Germany say they will boost cooperation in the fight against jihadi propaganda and online recruitment.

Speaking at an international forum on web security in Lille on Tuesday, French Interior
Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said this month's attacks in Paris underlined the need for greater web security.
In the aftermath of the attacks that left 17 people dead in Paris, French websites sustained an estimated 1,300 cyberattacks from jihadist hackers.
Cazeneuve and his German counterpart Thomas de Maisiere called for European-level coordination on web monitoring.
