Thousands of migrants stuck in Idomeni

Issued on:

Greece says that on Thursday no migrants arrived on its islands near Turkey for the first time since the EU and Turkey agreed a deal to stop migrants and refugees travelling to Europe. The agreement went into effect last weekend and will mean that most migrants who land in Greece will be sent back. After these decisions, thousands of people are still stuck in the north of Greece where Macedonia refuses to let them past its border.
